Sharie King was born in Atlanta, GA. She gave her heart to Jesus when she was eleven years old and soon surrendered to ministry at age twelve. As wife and ministry partner to Clayton King, Sharie has served at CKM in various capacities and travels all over the United States speaking at ladies events, churches, colleges and summer camps. Sharie and Clayton have two sons, Jacob and Joseph. She has written two books. When she’s not serving, Sharie loves to paint, read and spend time outdoors!
SCOTT AND LANA NEAL
Scott has been married to Lana (Leadership Development Pastor) for 27 years. Scott and Lana serve alongside each other in many areas of ministry, including leading outreach teams to South America. They enjoy sharing their lives together and are excited to see what the future holds for Forest Park and for their family. Scott and Lana’s dream is to lead a church where broken people, regardless of their present condition or spiritual journey, experience God’s love and grace and are inspired to passionately follow Jesus. Scott became Lead Pastor of Forest Park in November, 2001. He enjoys books, friends, family, cooking and strong coffee. He is a graduate of Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Together, Scott and Lana love and parent three incredible children, Evan, Ashlyn and Camryn.
Lana brings more than 20 years of experience in leadership development, children’s ministry and global outreach to Forest Park. Lana is skilled to reach and empower people at various stages of life and inspire them to be all God created and designed them to be. She helps people realize their full potential through training and practical messages. Lana develops and leads teams in both church and business environments. Lana also leads outreach teams to schools in Ecuador each summer. Over the last 17 years, Lana has spoken to and impacted 100,000 kids in Guayaquil, Milagro, El Triunfo and Machala, Ecuador. Lana and Scott (Lead Pastor) have been married for 27 years and have three children, Evan, Ashlyn, and Camryn.
ABEL AND GANEL SUTTON
Pastor Abel is the Youth Pastor of Faithway Churches of Jesus, Executive Hospice Care Consultant at Community Homecare and Hospice, and the writer and producer for FWD Soundstage, a gospel performing arts group he has along with his nine siblings. He has given hope to countless families at the end of life for their loved ones, written songs and plays for tours around the United States and Canada, and preached to a multitude of souls in need of Jesus.
Minister Ganelle is an 8th grade English teacher at River Road Middle School, writer at Ganelle Gaddy Sutton Books and Founder of the Young Authors’ Club, a creative writing camp in Elizabeth City. She has taught the city’s youth about the power of writing and given them a passion for the pen.
Together, they have four children, Abel E. Micah, Eden, Lily…plus another on the way!
Anna is the owner of Northeastern Professional Counseling, located in Elizabeth City. She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Regent University . While working full-time as Lead Clinician with Pride in NC, Anna built her private practice in the evenings. In June of 2014, Anna was able to transition to working full-time in her Private Practice, Northeastern Professional Counseling, PC. She is a treasured speaker for the Adore Conference, and her super power is to help others discover their super power.
