Scott and Lana have been married for 33 years. Scott and Lana have served alongside each other in many areas of ministry, including teaching, leadership development, creating and leading conferences, and leading outreach teams to Mexico, Ecuador, Uganda, and Rwanda. They enjoy sharing their lives and are excited to see what the future holds for Forest Park and for their family. Scott and Lana’s dream is to lead a church where broken people, regardless of their present condition or spiritual journey, experience God’s love and grace, and are inspired to follow Jesus one step at a time. Scott became Lead Pastor of Forest Park in November 2001. He enjoys books, friends, family, cooking and strong coffee. He is a graduate of Liberty University. Lana is currently employed by Northeast Academy for Aerospace & Advanced Technologies (NEAAAT) in Elizabeth City, teaching Spanish to both middle and high school students. Together, Scott and Lana love and parent three amazing adults, Evan (29), Ashlyn (26), and Camryn (24). And four perfect grandsons, Graysen (5), Elliot (3), and twin boys, Cash and Caden (1).
Josh is a driven and passionate follower of Jesus, using his skills in technology and production to help Forest Park achieve their mission. He married Ashlyn in January of 2018, and graduated Mid Atlantic Christian University in May of 2019. Josh enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, discovering new music, and watching new TV series.
Preston joined Forest Park in 2020. He has been married to his wife Karla-Beth since June 2018. Preston received a Bachelor of Science (Youth Ministries), and a Master of Divinity (Pastoral Counseling) from Liberty University. Preston’s passion in life is for young people to know God & experience His love in a visible way by any means necessary. His mantra for life is that relationships make the difference.
Allison joined Forest Park five years ago and began her passion for teaching children about Jesus in the nursery. She went on to become the Preschool Coordinator for over 2 years, which was her true calling. Allison retired from the Coast Guard after serving 31 wonderful years as a Personnel Warrant Officer. Allison has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management. Allison has always had a passion for helping others. She is a veterans advocate, retired Paramedic and works closely with the Special Olympics. Allison is married to Tracy Stevens and they have one beautiful daughter, Lauren and grandson named Eli.
Karla Beth is committed to creating excellent worship experiences at FPC. She is a graduate of Liberty University and currently teaches in the public school system. She finds joy in reading, learning about the Enneagram, and enjoying the company of friends!
Lisa joined Forest Park in 1982 and has served in various ministries over the years. Lisa brings more than thirty years experience in Finance and Human Resources to Forest Park. During her profession, she gained valuable skills and experience, which she applies to the business administration. Lisa is passionate about financial integrity and staff team excellence. Lisa has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. Lisa also has a passion for global outreach and serves alongside Scott and Lana in leading outreach teams to Ecuador, South America. Her life is forever changed because of the missionaries and individuals she encountered throughout the last 15 years of outreach trips. Lisa has been married to her husband, Randy, for 33 years and they have an awesome son, Jeremy and daughter-in-law, Whitney.
Dakota has been involved in and leading community groups for over 12 years. He believes that life is best experienced in community. Dakota desires to see our greater community thriving in healthy relationships within their families and smaller communities. This passion for healthy, thriving relationships led him to achieving a M.A. degree in Pastoral Counseling: Marriage and Family Studies from Liberty University. Dakota is married to Nikki and they have two children, Stella and Brodie.
